High Power Traveling Wave Tube Amplifiers (TWTA), High Voltage Power Systems and Test Equipment for Microwave Tubes.

Quarterwave manufactures a complete line of popular Traveling Wave Tube Amplifiers. We have a selective inventory of Traveling Wave Tubes (TWT) and Traveling Wave Tube Amplifiers (TWTA) available separately or integrated to system requirements.

Quarterwave's TWTA are currently being used as transmitters in sophisticated Synthetic Aperture Radars (SAR), airborne weather research, under the NASA TRMM program, and in many of the nations Radar Cross Section (RCS) low observable test measurements programs. Other applications include threat platform simulators, wireless communications, satellite uplinks, and a growing number of EMI/RFI test facilities.

Quarterwave stocks some TWT's and amplifiers with power levels ranging from 40 watts to 2 kilowatts and frequencies from 1GHz to 18GHz. With other TWT's our standard amplifiers are capable of power levels from 10 watts to 50 kilowatts and frequencies from 1.0 GHz to 95 GHz. Custom TWTA's and OEM TWTA modules are also available.

Selector Guides list our popular TWTA categorized by Octave Bandwidth Power Levels. Within a category, Narrow Bandwidth models generally deliver more RF Power, and Wide Bandwidth models generally deliver less RF Power.
